Thaddeus was a very kind and friendly person. He was always one of the neighborhood guys that had a smile on his face and was fun to be around and was infatuated with cars and motors. As time passed, Thad and I met each other again at the City of Jacksonville Motor Pool where he was a service writer and I with the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department. When I brought my engine in for repair, there was that smiling face coming out to greet me. Thad thank you for being a great friend and a restful sleep until we meet again.

I am adding some photos I received. For those that knew Richard was a NASCAR fan, this is why, he was a part of NASCAR for a time. He also drove the #57 car in the movie DAYS OF THUNDER.
